Pamphlets!  Of course!  Whoops, I knew there was something I was forgetting 
to tell you guys.  ;) Thanks for bringing this up, Isolde!

I have pretty, glossy Northshield pamphlets!  Currently I have about 1300, 
having gotten rid of 100 or so at WW and then another 200 sent out since 
then.  I would be happy to send out up to 50 pamphlets to each group in the 
Northshield (including "contact groups" or whatever we are calling early 
forming groups these days).  I will be providing packaging and postage.

These are the groups who have already received pamphlets--well, I sent them 
out, anyway:
Phelps, WI group (Amytis)
Lub Siochail (Gemma)
Falcon's Keep (Reina Gunnora)
Jararvellir (Chiere Nicole--delivered at Fools' Moot)

This is on a first-requested, first-served basis.  I would really like to 
stick to only (up to) 50 per group and only one person per group requesting 
them, or it isn't fair to those who request later and might not get any.  I 
will post this offer to the Seneschal's list only AFTER you Chatelaines 
have had a crack at them, so please don't forward this offer to that list.

Please contact me OFF-LIST, directly at: gflower at merr.com , so that you 
don't clutter up the northshieldchatelaines list with requests.  I need: 
the number of pamphlets you are requesting, and the *mundane* name and 
address they need to be sent to.  (Many post offices will only deliver 
items with the legal name of the resident of the house/apartment, so your 
non-SCA name is very important.  Sure I can look it up...but save me a 
little time, willya?  ;) )

If you need more than 50, remember that the text of the pamphlet is up as a 
Word file in the Files section of our Yahoo group at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/northshieldchatelaines/files/Fliers/
You're welcome to use the text either as-is, or incorporate it into a flyer 
that serves your local needs.  There are also some various examples and 
ideas for publicity items in that same Files section.  You are also welcome 
to photocopy the flyers.

I am hoping that we can update and re-print the pamphlet, just as pretty as 
it is now, for next summer's use.  The only updating it needs would be to 
"Kingdom of Northshield" rather than "Principality".  Friedrich (the 
Kingdom Chronicler, and the person who originally designed the flyer) is 
going to bring the idea to the Stallari to find out whether this is an 
expense the Kingdom could help out with.  No guarantees though: remember 
the original flyer was a donation from the Barony of Windhaven to the 
Principality.  So it's never paid for these before.

One more note: there is a spot on the back of each flyer to put your 
group's contact information.  You may want to invest in some mailing labels 
to make this easier...or hand out pens at your next local meeting and have 
people write the info in!
