Hello, Hans!
Welcome to the Shire! It's a pleasure to meet you on the list and I look
forward to meeting you in person.
My name is Alynne Fey and I have been happily involved in Rudivale for 12
years. We're not a big shire anymore as many of our members have moved away
due to military commitments, school, new jobs, etc. I'm delighted that you
and your wife will be moving to the area. Does she participate in the SCA
too?
I lived in Abilene in the early 80's and thoroughly enjoyed my time there.
Yours in Service,
Alynne Fey

Hello,
This is a long overdue introduction.
My name is Hans (MKA: Shawn Rasch). I am from Billings, MT, but I currently
live in Abilene, TX. I have played in the S.C.A. since 1997. I became a paid
member/fighter in 2000. I have been in Northshield twice, when it was a
principality, and I enjoyed my time there.
I joined this list in anticipation of a move to Grand Forks. My wife and I
are planning start our Grad programs at UND in fall of 07. She is a Painting
major, and I am a Voice major.
I am a heavy fighter, but I also do rapier. I am authorized in both as a
fighter and as a basic marshal. I of course do some bardic (after all, I am
a music major), and I am currently the Chronicler in this shire.
I am looking forward to coming to town, and I hope I can be a good
contribution to your group.
~hans
