Different people have different opinions about the meetings.  Yes, they are business type meetings, but by attending them, you are helping to make the decisions about what the shire is going to be up to in the future.  Too me business meetings represent the heartbeat of the Shire and I try to attend when health permits.  Some people think that being an integral part of the shire and decision making process to be too boring and so discourage new people from attending for fear that they will be scared off or something.

That being said:  the local shire does the meetings a little differently than most shires I've lived in that they separate meetings into "business" "A&S" "fight practices"  (fill in the blank)"________"  If you've attended the SCA in other places, this might seem kind of confusing at first but its just the way they do it around here.

>hI!!  Should I be comming to these meetings?  I thought they were all just buisnessy stuff?  Also do you have a way to contact Alicia and Tashfin. I still have the costumes she loaned me, I have been sick and unable to get them over to her, I feel terrible.  Could I just drop them off, leave them inside the porch door or something?  Also If I should come to the meetings let me know.  I know I just kind of dropped out of sight, but I would like to get involved with SCA again.   Noelle
