I just now pulled a very wet and scared kitty from under the big 
evergreen next to the house. Took lots of coaxing and half a can of tuna 
to get her within reach. Poor little thing.

I couldn't sleep so was at the computer. Decided to open the window in 
case I should hear a mew, and hear it I did at about a quarter past 
midnite.

Usually the kitties stay upstairs and I shut myself in the basement to 
sleep. Tonight I'm leaving the door open. Right now it's time for 
scritches.
