*The day of the Involvement Expo we were able to get 12 interested persons
to write down their e-mail addresses.  I just sent out an e-mail to them
about our meeting next Tuesday, and only one person's address bounced.  So,
there are 11 potential new Shire members, and possibly any friends/family
members they bring with them.  There is a copy of the e-mail I sent them
below:*

 Hello again to all of you, and thanks for visiting the Middle Ages
Recreation Society booth at the recent Involvement Expo.  My name is Jessica
Adams, and I am the president of M.A.R.S.  I am writing to let you know that
we will be having a meeting next week during which we will plan upcoming
activities and generally socialize.  The meeting info is as follows:

Date: Tuesday September 4, 2007
Time: 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Location: UND Memorial Union, Prairie Room

This would be a great opportunity to get answers to any questions you might
have about what are group does and has the potential to do.  Also, we plan
activities together based on the interests of our members, so if there is
something you are particularly interested in (such as chainmail, weaving,
costuming, armored or rapier combat...), this is a good chance to explore
and help decide on the possibilities for upcoming events
