[The_herald] Park and Event stuff

I called out the park (Turtle River) to find out why the lodge was booked 
so early when last year they wouldn't give us a reservation until after the 
1st.  It was because of the price change that they put into effect last 
year.  They weren't booking until the first because the price change didn't 
go into effect before then and they didn't want to lock in reservations at 
the lower price.  They do drive me crazy.  Wish we had an alternative site.

The CCC is open for most of June.  Since this is an outdoor event and there 
is water at the CCC, I'm not sure what the problem with the pit toilets 
is.  (These aren't portapotties, but the same kind of permanant outdoor 
toilets you find all over the park.  The park really does keep them very 
clean.)  If that isn't an option, we can get the lodge for the first 
weekend and last two weekends in Sept.  Since July conflicts us with a 
major event, and Aug. with Pensic, then maybe late Sept. is the way to 
go.  Weather might be nice again.

Third option:  Chalet is open June 9, 16th and 30th.  The maximum capacity 
of the room is 50 and the kitchen is smaller - but we've done feasts there 
in the past.  It is 75 per day.   Without Erewhon, I really don't see us 
drawing over 50 for feast anyway.  It is air conditioned and has flush 
toilets downstairs.
